The Mountain Explorer Co. is a locally owned company based in Canmore, Alberta, dedicated to offering premium sightseeing tours through the Canadian Rockies. Our focus is on comfort, service, and sustainability. With spacious luxury vehicles, small group sizes, and thoughtful touches like warm drinks and cozy blankets, we ensure each guest enjoys a smooth and memorable ride. We’re proud to share our backyard with the world, while respecting the land we explore and leaving no trace behind. We will be re-opening next year as a camper rental company!
ANTHONY
With many years of experience in the hospitality industry, Anthony founded The Mountain Explorer Co. with one goal in mind: to deliver nothing less than exceptional guest experiences. His perfectionist mindset, warm personality, and love for the outdoors shape everything we do. When he's not on the road or refining the details of our tours, you'll likely find him skiing, hiking, or spending time with his dog in the mountains he calls home. His goal is to transform The Mountain Explorer Co. into a dedicated camper rental company within the next year, giving guests the freedom to explore our incredible backyard at their own pace.
Joel is our lead guide and an absolute force of nature—both on and off the trail. A licensed helicopter pilot with a deep love for snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, and working on his cars, Joel brings a contagious energy to every tour. His knowledge of the Rockies and enthusiasm for outdoor adventures make him the perfect person to guide our guests through some of Canada’s most iconic landscapes.
