Lake Louise

Glacier-fed turquoise waters surrounded by towering peaks.
Drive time: ~1 hour from Canmore
Time at lake: ~45 minutes
Optional lakeside walk, photography, or relaxing by the shoreline.
 

Moraine Lake

One of the most iconic alpine lakes in the Canadian Rockies.
Drive time: ~30 minutes
Time at lake: ~45 minutes
Explore the shoreline, admire the Valley of the Ten Peaks, and enjoy time for photos. Optional canoe rental available at the lake (third-party).
 

Bow Lake

A brief scenic stop along the Icefields Parkway.
Drive time: ~45 minutes
Time at lake: ~10 minutes
Quick photo stop with glacier and mountain reflections.
 

Peyto Lake

Famous for its sweeping, glacier-fed turquoise views.
Drive time: ~15 minutes
Time at lake: ~30 minutes
Short walk to the viewpoint overlooking one of the most photographed lakes in the Rockies.
 

Mistaya Canyon

A dramatic canyon carved by rushing glacial waters.
